Ryan Mathews is the Chargers 2010 first round pick as a running back from Fresno State. When the Chargers drafted a 1st round RB only months after releasing LaDanian Tomlinson, the young Mathews was tagged as the heir apparent at the position. Mathews has given himself the nickname "Bam Bam".
